What can an individual due to prevent this from happening? You already clean your hearing devices diligently and place it in your home Dry and Store box every night.
Sometimes your hearing aids will still need additional maintenance that can be provided by our office, or by sending it away to the manufacturer for a full service work up.
How do I go about this?
One option is to call the office and we will triage the problem with you over the phone. You can also stop by the office and drop the hearing devices off for service.
We work on hearing devices on a first come first served basis. We will do a work up in house which usually takes about 24 hours after which you will get a call when the hearing devices are ready for pickup.
In the event we cannot get the hearing device to function in house, we will then send it to the factory.
If your hearing devices are not covered by a service warranty, we will call you with an estimate before sending them out. Please allow seven (7) to ten (10) business days for factory service. You will get a call from our office once the hearing devices have been checked and reprogrammed to the last settings.
