Peter Shepard, M.D.

Dr. Shepard has been with Southwestern Ear, Nose & Throat since 2009.  He attended The Colorado College, did medical research in the Bay Area of California, and then received his medical degree (and M.S. in anatomy) from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH.  He did his residency at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI.  Dr. Shepard is board certified in the Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and has a fellowship in otolaryngic allergy.

Dr. Shepard practices general ear, nose, and throat with special interests in sinus surgery, balloon sinuplasty, nasal allergy, parathyroid and thyroid surgery, and rhinoplasty.  Dr. Shepard works primarily in Santa Fe.  He also has clinic in Los Alamos once a week.  He has hospital privileges at Christus St.Vincent, using the operating room at Physician Medical Center.

Dr. Shepard was born in Minnesota and has lived in Santa Fe since 2009 with his wife and two children.  In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, hiking, biking, and spending time with his family.
