Dr. Brett Adams, Au.D, CCC-A joined Southwestern Ear, Nose & Throat in May 2013. He graduated from Ithaca College in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology with a minor in Deaf Studies. In 2014, he received a clinical doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from the University of Utah. Dr. Adams is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a licensed audiologist in the state of New Mexico.
Dr. Adams’s primary professional interests include age-related hearing loss, auditory perception in noise, vestibular dysfunction, and psychoacoustics. While audiology is ever-changing field, he most enjoys staying current with the trends of hearing aid technology. Dr. Adams values the importance of communication and seeks to utilize these technologies to improve the quality of patients’ lives.
At Southwestern Ear, Nose & Throat, Dr. Adams enjoys working within a patient-centric model of hearing healthcare. This includes collaboration audiologists and physicians, to best meet the unique needs of every patient.
Dr. Adams sees patients in Santa Fe and in Los Alamos one day per week.
